Unifai ("we", "our", "us") operates the Unifai mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app. By using Unifai, you consent to the practices described in this policy. Last updated: April 2026.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you sign in with Apple or Google: your name, email address, and profile photo (as shared by the authentication provider). We also collect usage data automatically, including which AI tools you browse, creations you favorite, search queries, and general interaction patterns within the app. We do not collect precise location data, contacts, health data, or financial information.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (1) provide and maintain the Unifai service, including personalized tool recommendations; (2) save your favorites and preferences across sessions; (3) analyze aggregated, anonymized usage trends to improve our content curation; (4) send you important service updates or respond to your inquiries; and (5) detect and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we never sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Authentication tokens are managed through industry-standard protocols. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Services
Unifai links to external AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Canva, and others) by opening their websites in your browser. We do not transmit your personal data to these tools. When you visit a third-party tool through Unifai, that tool's own privacy policy governs your interaction with it. Analytics (such as screen views and interaction patterns) are stored on our own Supabase infrastructure and are not shared with Google Analytics, Facebook, or similar third-party advertising analytics providers. We also use Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in (Apple and Google) and Firebase Cloud Messaging for optional push notifications, subject to Google's privacy policy.
AI-Generated Content
All creations displayed in Unifai — images, music, videos, and presentations — are produced exclusively by our team using various third-party AI tools. We own the creations we produce and display them in the app to showcase what AI can create and to help users discover the tools behind each result. While we take care to curate quality outputs, AI-generated content may occasionally include unexpected artifacts or inaccuracies inherent to generative AI.
International Data Transfers
Your data is stored on servers operated by Supabase in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). If you access Unifai from outside the EU, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the EU. By using the app, you consent to such transfers. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other mechanisms approved under applicable data protection laws to safeguard international transfers.
Cookies & Local Storage
Unifai does not use tracking cookies. When you open an external AI tool inside our in-app browser, that tool may set its own cookies subject to its own policies. On your device, Unifai uses local storage (caches, keychain) solely to keep the app fast and to remember your preferences between sessions. You can clear all local data by deleting the app.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data (profile information, favorites, and preferences) will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be traced back to you may be retained indefinitely to improve the service.
Children's Privacy
Unifai is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of Unifai after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
