DMCA / Copyright Policy
Unifai respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998 and other applicable copyright laws, Unifai will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Content on Unifai
Unifai is a discovery platform that aggregates AI-generated content from various sources. Content displayed on Unifai is created by third-party AI tools and their users. Unifai does not claim ownership of displayed content and relies on users, creators, and rights-holders to report potential infringement.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on Unifai infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes ALL of the following (required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., title, registration number, URL of original)
3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on Unifai (direct URL to the creation page)
4. Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

Note: If claiming US DMCA safe harbor, the site owner must register this designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office (https://www.copyright.gov/dmca-directory/).
Response Time
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Unifai will:
• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material expeditiously (typically within 5 business days)
• Notify the user who uploaded the content (if applicable)
• Document the takedown for our records
Counter-Notices
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice containing:
1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the removed material and its prior location
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction in the applicable federal court
5. Consent to service of process from the original complainant
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
Unifai maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed by mistake may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal notice, we encourage rights-holders to contact us informally at founder@unifai.info to resolve concerns.
Israeli Copyright Law
For rights-holders in Israel, takedown requests may also be sent under the Israeli Copyright Act (חוק זכויות יוצרים, התשס"ח–2007). Please include the same information required for a DMCA notice.
EU Digital Services Act (DSA)
For rights-holders in the European Union, this channel also serves as the notice-and-action mechanism required under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
